The 5th edition of the Transalp Bowl marks a historic first:
for the very first time, the competition will feature women’s teams representing Italy and France in an exciting 7vs7 Tackle American Football matchup! 💥 Taking the field: 🔥 Scarlet Phoenix International (ITA) ⚡ French Team (FRA) The French Team is made up mainly of players from the Chevaliers d’Orléans, reinforced by athletes from other French teams. The traveling party will include 25 members, players and staff alike, led by Head Coach Ornella Brunetti from the French Federation (FFFA). 🇫🇷 The Scarlet Phoenix International Team will feature around 20 players, including two special guests: 🇮🇹 Beatrice Cervesato, an Italian athlete from Varese who discovered American Football while living and playing in Catalonia. 🏉 Molly Briason, an English player active in both Rugby and American Football, who previously faced the Phoenix while playing for the Titans Manchester in their debut match.
Leading team Scarlet Phoenix on this occasion will be Head Coach Fabrizio Spanò, supported by coaches Alessandro Contessa, Ottavio Mengo, Alice Menaballi, and the new additions Alberto Azzimonti and Andrea Regazzoni. 👏 It’s set to be a fantastic day of sports, passion, and international friendship — you don’t want to miss it! ❤️💚💙 Join us in Concorezzo and experience the energy of the Transalp Bowl 2025 – First Women’s Edition! 🏆
The match will be preceded by a workshop entitled: Women and Sport: A Story Yet to Be Written with the presence of personalities from the world of Sport which will be held at the Villa Zoja Auditorium, Via Libertà 74 – Concorezzo (MB) starting at 10 am on Sunday 7 December
